Sales Manager - £35K plus bonus car, pension and laptop
A unique and exciting position exists with an International Manufacturing company for a Sales Manager. The position offers the successful candidate a secure working environment supported by the head quarters of the company, based in Germany. As the Sales Manager you will be based in the UK offices in Leicestershire and manage the UK and Ireland Sales Operation.
The company offers complete systems solutions to a range of industries including food, chemicals and home appliances. The range of products includes machines, software and systems for palletising, conveying and handling.
The role is extremely varied with an emphasis on business development and increasing market share through identifying new opportunities.
Your day to day duties will involve:
• Business development
• Visiting customers
• Presenting to potential clients
• Demonstrating the uses of capital machinery
• Working alongside engineers to provide information to potential customers
• Preparing quotes
• Managing the sales process
• After sales contact
The successful candidate will ideally:
• Have sales experience
• Be highly driven and self motivated
• Have experience / qualification in engineering
• Be commercially aware
• Have excellent customer facing and presentation skills
• Be able to work as part of a team
• Be keen to identify and act on new opportunities
