An exciting opportunity has arisen for a bright and confident Administrator/Resourcer to join Linsco’s elite Commercial team based in prestigious offices in Nottingham’s Lace Market. You will support the Commercial team in all aspects of general office administration presenting a professional and friendly impression to Candidates and Clients both face to face and over the phone.
Linsco are a busy Recruitment Agency, we provide a high quality service to both Construction and Commercial sectors throughout the East Midlands. Due to vast expansion we are looking for an experienced Administrator/Resourcer to join our existing team.
As Administrator/Resourcer your duties will include:
•Being (wherever possible) the first point of contact for Commercial telephone enquiries, dealing with all callers in an efficient and in a friendly manner and passing accurate messages over to the correct person.
•Meeting and greeting all Commercial visitors, ascertaining the reason for their visit - if registering - set them up on an application form, requesting and photo copying ID and setting them up on application forms and computerised testing.
•Registering Commercial Candidates onto the in house database and resourcing for general Candidate availability via (Internet searches and Candidate ring arounds), keeping the Commercial Consultants up to date with shortlists of Candidates for different temporary and permanent positions.
•Obtaining Candidate bank details upon registration, chasing NI numbers and any outstanding bank details weekly to cut down on the Payroll Department’s work load.
•Making sure that all registered Candidates are eligible to work in the UK, requesting proof of ID upon registration and performing relevant searches on the in house database to ascertain whether or not ID has been received - following up with letters/phone calls and liaising with the Home Office where necessary.
•Producing CVs and general business correspondence in line with Linsco’s format - ensuring that spelling and grammar are professionally correct in all instances.
•Frequently monitoring Internet advertisements, posting new vacancies and expiring closed vacancies to eliminate time wasting, refreshing all jobs weekly.
•Working alongside Consultants to schedule registration appointments (booking diaries) emailing appointment confirmation and directions.
•Creating contracts for all new temporary Commercial workers, ensuring that the correct data is entered.
•Typing letters and various project work for the Commercial Team.
•Meeting crucial deadlines to ensure the smooth running of Payroll and the Commercial desk.
•Other duties include performing various administrative tasks, i.e. reporting low stock levels to the Commercial Manager, filing, faxing, shredding confidential information, etc.
•Franking and sending Commercial post.
The successful applicant will have accurate typing skills, a knowledge of Outlook and MS Office and an overall a professional telephone manner. Experience on a busy switchboard or in a similar role would be ideal.
