Job Description
Both CNC and manual centre lathe turners required by one of the region's premier engineering firms. Our client specialises in drill collar manufacture and prides themselves on design development and manufacturing expertise. They offer bespoke services to the Oilfield product and Tooling Industries.
The successful candidate will be apprentice trained with experience of Phillips controls and capable of working jobs up to 10m in length. Experience of working with non magnetic stainless steel is essential and you will be responsible for the quality of your work. Bed lengths range from 2m-5m and all conventional lathes are 4 jaw chuck.
Competitive salary (dependant on experience) and benefits with the option of days or nights. A 36 hour weekend shift will be introduced in 2009 and this position offers job security and career advancement
