JOB TITLE: Laboratory Technician

LOCATION: Chesterfield/Sheffield/Rotherham/Barnsley

SALARY AND BENEFITS: £20,000-£25,000

SUMMARY: A splendid opportunity for an experienced Laboratory Technician has arisen in Chesterfield with our client – a prestigious manufacturing firm. They are looking to resource a team member to assist them with Research, Development and Quality Control.

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• Educated to degree level or equivalent experience

• Proven ability in a laboratory environment

• Stable career history working as a laboratory technician

• Clear communication skill both verbal and written

• Strong analytical and reporting abilities

IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

• 3 year plus experience as a Laboratory Technician

• Experience of R&D work in a refractory companies’ laboratory

• Understanding of Monolithic refractories

ROLE INFORMATION:

• A Laboratory Technician will focus on development and quality control work within the laboratory

• A Laboratory Technician will conduct research work to assist in development and improvement in quality control

• A Laboratory Technician will provide support to the laboratory team when required and look to achieve new product development

• A Laboratory Technician will partake in any ad hoc project required, as requested by the senior management team
