A rare and progressive trainee design engineer vacancy has become available at one of the UK’s leading mechanical building services contractors.

THE POSITION:
Trainee Design Engineer: Mechanical Building Services / Renewable Energy

SALARY:
£18,000 - £22,000 + Superb Training / Progression + Benefits & Package

POSSIBLE LOCATION OF CANDIDATES:
Mansfield, Sutton in Ashfield, Chesterfield, Nottingham, Newark - East Midlands


THE ROLE:
This position has been created to develop a junior design engineer or CAD engineer into a fully fledged mechanical building services engineer in the next few years and beyond.

Working with a small team of mechanical building services engineers you will help produce CAD designs for Heating & Temperature Control systems on commercial premises.

Based at the office near Mansfield, you will assist in the design of mechanical heat pump and heating systems using AutoCAD and other specialist CAD packages.

This rare opportunity guarantees superb progression and will enable you to be fully trained and qualified in renewable energy and mechanical building services. An opportunity not to be missed.


CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Essentially you will be a graduate or educated to a minimum of HNC standard and have some relevant experience or knowledge of the mechanical building services (heating, ventilation, air conditioning etc) or renewable energy industry.

Candidates who have recently graduated with a mechanical building services degree or renewable energy qualification will be of particular interest.

Ideally having some CAD or mechanical building services design experience, you will be someone who is looking to develop a long career in the renewable energy sector and specifically work within design, development and project management.
