Due to expansion, our Derbyshire based client is currently recruiting for a Graduate Trainee. This is a newly created role that will see you support the Financial Controller with your main responsibilities including; preparing monthly management accounts and routine reporting alongside providing ad hoc analysis and interpretation of data.

Duties will include but not be limited to:

- Prepare monthly management accounts
- Accruals and prepayments
- Profit and loss and balance sheet reconciliations
- Bank reconciliations
- Maintenance of the fixed assets register
- Prepare monthly analysis and investigate all charges
- Assist the Senior Management Accountant with any ad hoc projects

The successful candidate will be an Accountancy and Finance Graduate or you will be an early stage CIMA or ACCA studier. Excellent computer skills are required and the ideal candidate will have a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel. You will have the ability to work in a fast moving environment, to organise your own workload and you must be able to multi-task to ensure deadlines are met.
