Refractory Engineer

Inspire Resourcing are pleased to be recruiting a Refractory Engineer to work for this Global manufacturer at their Chesterfield site.

You will be expected to:

• Identify and understand a customers requirements
• Process job specifications through to submission of a refractory solution which includes drawings and bills of materials, all produced to required standards and within given timescales.
• Liaise with internal staff, outside agents and customers on a world wide level
• Travel occasionally within the UK and very occasionally worldwide


To apply you must:

• Possess a high degree of numeracy and computer proficiency and a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, Autocad experience is preferred but not essential as training can be provided.
• Good communication skills are required at all levels.
• The ability to work under their own initiative and within guidelines of the department standards.
• Ideally possess an academic qualification to ONC/HND standard in a related discipline is required.
• Be career orientated; it is foreseen that this role will develop into a specialist role once product knowledge has been gained. A training plan will be drawn up for the successful candidate. Our client has an impressive track record or personnel development and internal promotion
