Job Description
Our client, a market leader within the chemical industry seek an experienced and business development professional to drive profitable and healthy growth across adjacent markets within the industry.
Reporting directly the Global Sales and Marketing Manager, key responsibilities and duties will include:
Managing the growth and development of product development programs
Develop a clear understanding of market opportunities including collection and analysis of market research inforamtion
Position Opportunities adequately and define a strategic portfolio to support these opportunities
Involvement in overall strategy development
Engaging with technical service, sales and marketing and other teams to meet team and company objective
Customer and New Client visits to support business case proposals
Candidates should have previous experience within a similar role including technical and marketing experience within the plastics/polymer industry, be educated to degree level and possess excellent communication, negotiation and marketing skills.
A European language or chemincal related degree are of a distinct advantage.
This role wiill involve a large amount of European travel and so candidates should be prepared to commit to periods of time away from home
