Market leading mechanical design and manufacturer urgently require a CAD Draughtsperson, CAD Technician, CAD Engineer or 2D AutoCAD experience to fill this exciting opportunity as...

SALARY: £20,000 - £25,000 + Pension + Healthcare Scheme

POSSIBLE LOCATION OF CANDIDATES: Nottingham, Derby, Chesterfield, Staveley, Mansfield, Sutton in Ashfield, Long Eaton - East Midlands.

THE ROLE:
Working for this market leading company based in the East Midlands you will join a talented design and CAD team working on exciting structural steel and mechanical developments for the civil engineering and rail industry.

You will liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers and sub contractors in regard to the production of engineering drawings and specifications using AutoCAD 2D software. You will prepare and alter mechanical engineering drawings to meet client requirements and be rewarded with all the benefits expected from a market leading firm.

This position also offers the successful candidate a long and progressive career within the CAD department and potentially project engineering and project management.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:
Essentially you will be based in the East Midlands and be fully conversant with AutoCAD. Further to this, structural steel and/or mechanical engineering experience would be very advantageous.

Being able to work to extreme accuracy using AutoCAD, suitable experience would exist in civil engineering, rail and/or construction industries.
