| Due to expansion, our client, an award winning travel operator seek experienced and confident individual to fill the new role of product travel manager. This rapidly growing business is built on providing good value for money holidays to interesting destinations. Key responsibilities and duties for this challenging role will include: Negotiating Contracts with a variety of suppliers to include airlines, hoteliers and agents Planning and costing of new tours Reviewing tours to improve quality and service Seeking the most cost effective way of operating existing tours Liasing with internal departments including operations, reservations, flights and customer service The successful candidate will be able to produce a proven track record within a similar role within the travel industry, have a working knowledge of word and excel and ideally possess experince of negotiating contracts. The candidate will also possess excellent communication skills together with the ability to negotiate cost saving. A second european language is desirable, however not essential. |
