| TEK Personnel are recruiting for a permanent Fleet Safety & Certification Project Engineer to work on a service contract in the Rail industry. You will be involved in the management of key safety management processes including Incident Reporting Safety Management, plus management of Maintenance and Design Certification. You will project manage the maintenance, overhaul plan definitions and risk assessments of component life extensions. You will oversee the management of certification limitations associated with maintenance regime expiry. In addition you will define and plan the management of key operational safety issues affecting the fleet. You will be the representative of our Service Project at key Customer facing and internal departmental meetings as well as managing all staff reporting directly and indirectly to this position. You will have detailed knowledge of project management and best practice as well as experience of working with risk management strategies. Ideally you will come from a fleet maintenance background with strong railway group standards. Ideal applicants will have an engineering degree or equivalent and working towards chartered engineering. Position based in the Burton upon Trent area.
