| Our client is a world-class supplier of overhead cranes and maintenance services with customers in all segments of industry. They serve customers throughout the world and currently have over 1,000 employees in multiple manufacturing and service locations. THE JOB FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER Due to continued success and expansion my client is now looking to recruit additional Field Service Engineers across the following areas, Sheffield, Hull, Stockton on Tees, Newcastle Upon Tyne, West Midlands, Greater Manchester, Bristol, Rochester, Norfolk, Aberdeen, High Wycombe. We are looking for experienced electrical engineers to join their existing field service teams, who are involved in the repair, maintenance and service of customers' lifting equipment, service inspection contracts, refurbishment and modernisation projects, installation, testing and certification of overhead cranes and hoists. * Ideally you will be apprentice-trained or equivalent and fully conversant with electrical engineering (with some mechanical) . City and Guilds electrical qualifications or similar * Experience with overhead cranes and hoists is desirable but not essential as full product training will be given * Good grasp of the English language (verbal and written) * Strong interpersonal skills as there is extensive customer contact * It is expected that you will be safety conscious * You must be physically fit and able to work at heights * Hold a current UK driving licence REMUNERATION Basic Salary up to £25,000(depending on experience), you are paid from the moment you leave your home in the morning, regular paid overtime after the basic 39 hours, (ample opportunity for overtime), 6% contributory pension, life assurance and prolonged disability/income protection scheme, specialized training on high quality products, provision of all equipment and PPE along with excellent company working practices and an industry leading training programme. Field Service Engineers are earning well in excess of £35,000 a year. A Company van is also provided |
