THE JOB
PURCHASING LEADER
Due to continued success and expansion my client is now looking to recruit an experienced Purchasing Leader.
Based at the clients Lincolnshire site the main purpose of the role is to take the lead in getting new and present suppliers committed to the clients projects; guiding them in the development process and assessing their financial stability and manufacturing ability. You will be effective in minimising risk and exposure and be able to negotiate optimum contracts.
Candidate Requirements
Degree or Equivalent is preferred
CIPS membership would be advantageous
Significant experience in supply chain management
Experience of global sourcing and managing complex contracts
Knowledge of Six Sigma would be useful as would new engineering product introduction.
Willingness to travel
REMUNERATION
Basic salary circa £40k (depending on skills and experience), bonus relocation assistance if required plus additional benefits.
