Exciting and forward thinking logistics emergency transport specialist organisation based in East Midlands Airport (Castle Donington), are currently recruiting an Operations Co-ordinator. The company arrange urgent air charter, helicopter charter, express airfreight, courier hand carry services and dedicated road freight.

Due to continual expansion we are looking for an Operations Coordinator at the Castle Donington Branch (DE74 2SA).

Duties requirements:

Hawbs, Manifest, Mawb
NES entries
Other HMC and International Trade related documentation
Taking shipment bookings
Arranging collections and transport
Quotes / Price Indications
Booking with carriers
Post-flights
Resolving customer queries as they arise
Monitoring shipments door to door and updating customers though out the whole process.
Proactive shipment tracking by regular communication with drivers
Imports / Exports / Cross Trades

Invoicing
Accruing of costs
Job costing
General administration duties
DTLR Aviation Security
IATA Dangerous Goods

Hours:
Hours and Shifts - Earlies 08:00 to16: 30, Lates 14:00 to 22:30
Nights (if applicable) 22:00 to 08:00 x 4 nights Monday thru Thursday
Weekend monitoring (rota)

Salary:
20k depending on experience plus shift allowance 15 per cent when worked, which is 3 weeks in 4 on this shift pattern.

Qualifications/ Skills:

Excellent interpersonal skills
Computer literate with experience of Microsoft software packages
Commercially minded professional, with drive and motivation to succeed
Minimum grade C or equivalent GCSE in Maths and


Essential requirements:
A valid UK driving license and passport
A 5-year checkable work history (Without gaps)
To be able to complete a (DFT) Criminal Record Disclosure
