This company is one of the market leading service providers for the FMCG sector. They deal with a £100 million cash flow turnover. After much re-structuring the company require high calibre new finance staff to join their team. They require a well experienced, highly motivated Credit Manager who can bring an air of enthusiasm in addition to innovative new ideas to their dynamic team.
The role will involve taking responsibility for the £100million cash flow in addition to managing the credit control and sales ledger functions. You will be expected to manage over 40 staff so experience in a management/leading role essential. Your responsibilities will include:
*Regularly reviewing credit controllers performance to ensure they are correctly prioritising accounts for collection
*Regularly reviewing the ledgers alongside the Financial Director
*Setting daily, weekly and monthly objectives for collections and invoice queries
*Setting and reviewing targets
*Achieving the targets agreed between yourself and the Financial Director
*Providing support to internal customers on debt collection
*Building and maintaining good relationships with key clients
*Producing reports both weekly and monthly for management including credit controllers targets and performance in relation to targets, daily and monthly cash received, debtor cash flow forecast, aged debtor reports and query management
If you wish to apply to this role you must be a member of The Institute of Credit Management and have a proven track record of:
*Performing assertive credit control
*Developing and implementing documented credit procedures and policies
*Implementing targets
*Using fully computerised systems, preparing reports in Excel and working efficiently with Microsoft Word and Outlook
*Liaising with customers and senior management
*Supervising, developing and motivating a team
